Lidia's Pittsburgh, located in the Strip District, specializes in authentic, from-scratch, Northern Italian cuisine in the style of its namesake, celebrity chef Lidia Bastianich. Supporting local farms that produce high-quality ingredients perfectly follows the principle of honest, elegant food. In addition to sourcing some humanely raised products from Serenity Hill Farms, Lidia's sources produce locally from Clarion River Organics in Sligo, PA, and Miller's Farm in Mercer, PA, and even fare foraged locally by Chris Jones. Lidia's also take sustainable initiatives to the next level, with its silver designation in the Sustainable Pittsburgh Restaurant program, and reducing food waste by sharing post-consumer bread waste with the pigs at Serenity Hill Farms.
Ethical Farm Sources
• Serenity Hill Farms for grass-fed beef and grass-fed lamb
• Burns Heritage Farm (take the tour) for pastured eggs and pastured chicken liver
